Air ambulance performs tight squeeze take-off from South London playground

This was the moment a skilled air ambulance pilot was able to land and then take off again in a primary school playground in Greenwich last night (September 17).

Two men suffered stab wounds nearby to the location that the footage was shot on Hevelius Close.

The London Air Ambulance managed to descend into the local Christ Church Primary School playground at 6 PM then later return to the air with the patients.

The filmer, Stephanie Morris, said: "I was a little concerned as it's only around the corner from my flat and they only get called out for major jobs"

Morris later added: "It was surprisingly quieter then I thought it would be. Nothing like you see on TV with the dust flying everywhere. The pilot made it look easy."
