ATM damaged in apparent robbery attempt in small English town

Robbers may have attempted to steal the cash from an ATM machine in the quiet English town of Kirkby Stephen in Cumbria.
A video showed the cash dispenser had been damaged in the incident at the local Co-op supermarket.
The shop was cordoned off by police as they investigated.
"It was obvious to see that the ATM machine had been broken into, which is the second time this has happened in the town," the filmer said.
"There are also rumours that the safe had been targeted by the robbers as well," he said.
