Duke Energy Begins To Shut North Carolina Nuclear Plants Ahead Of Florence

According to a report by Reuters, Duke Energy Corp started to shut their Brunswick nuclear power plant in North Carolina ahead of Hurricane Florence, which is expected to hit the coast near the plant on Friday. The US National Hurricane Center reports that Florence is currently a Category 2 storm with maximum sustained winds of 110 miles per hour.
