More and More NFL Players Are Going Vegan One does not typically think of vegans
when talking about NFL players
but that's all about to change. Leading the charge is
41-year-old Tom Brady,
who wants to keep playing
up until he's 45. The plant-based diet advocate
has dominated the league
since his late thirties. Brady even teamed up with vegan meal
delivery service Purple Carrot back in 2016. This year, 15 members of the Tennessee Titans have switched to plant-based eating, according to ESPN. However, some players

give it a try and reported, "My energy level's gone up. And it's just putting in good fuel to your body." Former lineman David Carter was one of the first players to go vegan in 2014. He eventually made a name for himself as "The 300-pound vegan." Other NFL players may never get on board the plant-based diet, but
one thing is for sure — veganism seems to
have found a place
within the league.
