The founder of Alibaba announced he will step down from his post, next September.
Jack Ma plans to hand over the chairmanship to current CEO, Daniel Zhang, who's been with the company for eleven years.
But the rags-to-riches entrepreneur will stay on the board until 2020.
He also owns 6-point-4 percent of AliBaba shares.
Next on challenge in life for the former English teacher: a return to education and focus philanthropy.
He co-founded the Chinese e-commerce giant in 1999 and expanded it into one of the world's biggest IT companies.
