The two Koreas have completed a joint inspection of major roads in North Korea between Pyongyang and the industrial city of Kaesong.
Roads they ultimately want to connect to South Korea.
Seoul's Unification Ministry says the eight-day survey ended on Monday after a team of 28 members from both sides examined one-hundred-61 kilometers of road, 89 bridges... and 18 tunnels.
The two sides agreed in the Panmunjom Declaration in April... to modernize the Pyongyang-Kaesong highway,... and conduct on-site inspections to see whether it's feasible.
Seoul plans to analyze and review the findings of the latest study,... and is now coordinating a schedule to inspect the Gyeongui and Donghae roads... on the Peninsula's west and east sides, respectively.
