Corn Dogs are as kid-friendly as dinner can be! Making your own is pretty easy and because they're baked, you can feel good when your kids have two. Subscribe to WUM for new vids! Thank you for making us the #1 Parenting Network on YouTube! INGREDIENTS1 cup white whole wheat flour + 2 tablespoons1 cup yellow cornmeal1 teaspoon baking powder½ teaspoon salt½ teaspoon stone ground mustard6 tablespoons cold butter, cut into cubes6 tablespoons milk (I often need to add a bit more if dough seems dry)1/4 cup honey6 hot dogs, cut in half14 oven-safe wooden sticksDIRECTIONS1. In a food process, add flour, cornmeal, baking powder, salt, mustard, milk. Turn your motor on and add butter a little at a time.2. Process until mixed and butter completely cut into dough, then turn out onto floured work surface (I like to use parchment or wax paper for easier clean up and less sticking).3. Using a floured rolling pin, roll your dough out until about 1/8-1/4 inch thick. You don't want it too thick.4. Cut a rectangle and place your hot dog in the center. Wrap hot dog, put stick into flat end of hot dog.5. Bake at 375 for about 15-20 minutes, slipping halfway through. Enjoy!Follow What's Up Moms on: Facebook: Instagram!
