Apple Claims iPhone Doesn’t Eavesdrop

Apple Claims iPhone Doesn’t Eavesdrop Apple denied their iOS devices are listening to user conversations. The iPhone-maker says their software only listens for two words, “Hey Siri”. The tech giant claims only then will your device be ready to listen to commands. Anything asked will be tied to a random identifier and not your personal Apple ID. The comments follow a letter sent out by members of the House Energy and Commerce Committee. The letter specifically noted third-party apps could collect info while listening for trigger words. Apple wants you to say "Hey Siri" without caution.
