We managed to get our hands on one of the very first 1103cc Ducati Panigale V4's right on the back of the launch in Valencia the other week. With a claimed 214bhp at the crank with 91.5ft/lb of torque, we decided that we were going to put it to the test.

We headed to out local Dyno at BSD, which is where we test all our bikes to find that the Panigale V4 puts out an almighty 198.58bhp at the back wheel with 87.35ft/lb of torque, instantly making it the most powerful mass-produced sportsbike we've ever tested.

And just get a load of that V4 singing. Bliss...
