SC pulls up the Bihar & UP Govt after horrifying cases of rape & abuse emerged from the states

The Supreme Court has pulled up the Bihar and UP Govt after horrifying cases of rape and abuse have emerged from the states. Court took Suo Motu Cognizance of the matter last week. The SC has sought answers as to why the Bihar govt was sitting on a report that red flagged the shelter home. In a scathing comment, the apex court said girls are being raped left right and centre and that somebody has to act to stop this. Meanwhile, another case has emerged in Hardoi where 19 girls are missing from a shelter home.
