In the September issue of Vogue, Beyoncé revealed she had toxemia when pregnant with her twins.
The singer said the condition caused her to go on bed rest and have an emergency C-section.
According to Business Insider, toxemia is another name for the medical condition preeclampsia.
It's a condition defined by high blood pressure and protein in the urine.
