Trump: 'Polls Are Fake, Just Like Everything Else'

President Trump on Tuesday slammed the "fake" polls.

President Trump went after the media again at a campaign-style rally in Tampa, Florida on Tuesday.
"Polls are fake, just like everything else," Trump told his audience.
This remark comes a week after he said during another speech, "Just remember, what you are seeing and what you are reading is not what's happening."
At the Tuesday rally, shortly after his dismissive comment about the polls in general, Trump went on to tout one particular poll that showed him in a favorable light.
He also tweeted about that poll on Sunday.
"Wow, highest Poll Numbers in the history of the Republican Party. That includes Honest Abe Lincoln and Ronald Reagan. There must be something wrong, please recheck that poll!" Trump wrote on Twitter.
While he didn't mention the specific poll he was referencing, he did achieve a 90 percent approval rating by Republicans in a Gallup poll from last month.
However, CNN disputed his assertions, saying, "he only beats Gerald Ford in recent history. Not only is he not the most popular Republican in history, but there's no way to say that for certain -- especially regarding Lincoln -- since there is no polling to consult from 1860."
Gallup pointed out in its own analysis: "Throughout his term, Trump's job approval ratings have ranked well below those of other presidents at similar points in their presidencies."
