A commercial fishing crew off Rhode Island landed some spectacular bycatch on Sunday, July 29, in the shape of a six-foot great white shark.Crew member Michael Lorello recorded the incident, off Misquamicut Beach in Westerly.Lorello said the catch was a first in his 20 years of fishing. He and the crew worked quickly to get the shark back in the water, winching it by the tail to get it overboard.Lorello told Storyful he observed the shark rolling around in the boat’s prop wash before it swam off.
