Air Scare Shock DGCA report blows open, disasters in-waiting busted; air safety still 'hawa mein'

According to data, from the directorate general of civil aviation increasing congestion in Indian airspace has resulted in over 90 cases of near miss incidents between 2015 and 2018. According to DGCA, Indian airspace had already witnessed eight “near miss” incidents in February, while two indigo aircrafts carrying 340 passengers on board averted a mid-air collision in Bengaluru after the traffic collision avoidance systems got triggered automatically. While the DGCA says its modernising the ATC to include conflict warning systems.
