Mystery predator of the Himalaya- Collared Pygmy Owlet
  • 6 years ago

One of our funnest stories yet - this owl took us 30 years to truly understand its mysterious life in the Himalaya, and its very little known breeding biology. Yet we cracked its secrets (without disturbing it!) and now bring you these rare images from the deep woods of the western Himalaya. See us protect two species of owls at the Wilderness Orchard and botanical gardens in Uttarakhand India - the Collared Pygmy Owlet and the Mountain Scops Owl.

While you're at it, get taken on a lovely journey around the old hill station town of Landour and its hidden forested nooks, and the mountains around Mussoorie.
