Dramatic moment bus topples over trying to avoid tuk-tuk, injuring 16

This is the moment a bus swerves sharply and topples over while trying to avoid crushing a tuk-tuk.
The tuk-tuk driver and his passengers were lucky to survive without a scratch. But the accident left 16 bus passengers injured.
The incident occurred at Pampady in Kerala, India on July 24.
A tuk-tuk driver was trying to make a U-turn on a busy road and came right in front of a bus.
Taken by surprise, the bus driver veered to his right to avoid a collision with the tuk-tuk. He lost control as the bus ploughed into an empty site and toppled after falling into a ditch.
Bystanders rushed to the accident spot and rushed 16 passengers, who were injured, to a nearby hospital.
Eyewitness Mohammad Ajmal, 43, said: “Luckily there were no serious injuries. A road transport official's jeep passed the same road a moment later. But they quietly left without assisting the victims.”
