Devastated residents repair homes damaged by storms from Typhoon Henry in the Philippines.

Hundreds of homes and fishing boats were battered by strong winds, waves and heavy rain in the coastal town of Tanza in Cavite region.

Resident Madelle Abellera said: ''Because of the typhoon, a lot of houses were already either destroyed or washed away into the sea. Almost every day, one family loses their house to the storm.

''The intensity of the waves and the storm is too much for them to withstand.

''The people here desperately need help to rebuild their lives.''

The footage was captured on July 18.
