Snow Leopard - The ghost of the mountains and her offspring
  • 6 years ago

Snow leopards are known as the “ghost of the mountains” because of their solitary and elusive nature. However, here we have a female with her two offspring.

Usually females raise their cubs until they're about 18 months, when they become able to live on their own.

In this scenario, female and cubs are seen together climbing the cold and arid rocky walls of the Himalayan mountains.
A regular day in this female's life is actually a quite important life lesson for her cubs who need to learn how to be flawless if they want to have a chance to survive and breed, in the future.
