Kulbhushan Jadhav Case Pakistan to file 2nd counter to India, Pak can't handle the truth
  • 6 years ago
Pakistan today filed a counter-affidavit replying to India’s before the International Court of Justice in the Kulbhushan Jadhav case. The document running into 400 pages has been prepared by a team headed by Pakistan's Attorney General. Remember former Indian Naval officer Kulbhushan Jadhav was arrested by Pakistani agencies in March 2016 tried by a military court often described as a kangaroo court as the sham trial was shrouded in complete secrecy with no real defence offered to Jadhav and in April 2017 this military court in Pakistan without a shred of credible evidence sentenced Jadhav to death on trumped up charges of espionage and terrorism. And while India has maintained from the beginning that Jadhav who had retired from the Indian Navy was in Iran to pursue his business interests. When he was kidnapped and sold to Pakistan’s ISI what made the trial a big farce among other things is Pakistan’s rejection of repeated requests made by India for consular access to Jadhav.
