Snow Leopard at its Yak kill
Snow Leopard skulking away from its Yak kill, on being discovered at it... The feline slinks away and hides in the shade of a large rock, but gets impatient after a while, and returns to the kill.

Rare Snow Leopard footage shot in the winter of 2011!

This Panthera uncia killed a Yak at 16, 000 feet altitude, near a village in Ladakh and our local tracker filmed this, after our professional crew had gone back, after a month of failure to film this fantastic feline. But we will be back before long, to film this graceful Himalayan cat, to support our filming partner Amber!
