Jay Billy is the principal at Slackwood Elementary School in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. He graduated from Ashland University in Ashland, Ohio and immediately went to the University of Delaware where he received his Master’s Degree in Physical Education. Mr. Billy received his Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from The College of NJ in 1997. He maintains his passion for learning and innovative practices inside schools and classrooms by reading everything he can get his hands on and attending workshops and conferences. Mr. Billy is passionate about making school and learning fun and engaging for all, including students, teachers and families. He received the 2016 Exemplary Educator award from the NJ DOE.
