In today's programme, we look at the destruction that volcanic eruptions leave behind. We saw the damages in Guatemala with the Fuego volcano, and now Ecuador witnessed the eruption of the Sierra Negra volcano in the Galapagos Islands. So, how can we all be prepared for these situations? Can we prevent death and the need of millions of dollars for reconstruction? To talk about this, we have with us Alexandra Alvarado, Director of the Geophysical Institute of the National Polytechnic School of Ecuador.
