It's going to feel more like summer today, with cloudy or partly sunny skies.

The northern regions will have highs rising 3 to 4 degrees higher than on Monday while Daegu and the surrounding regions will see highs soaring over by 10 degrees Celsius... into the low thirties.

Gyeongju will have a big jump in temperatures, getting up to 31 degrees by the afternoon. Seoul, at 28 degrees, is right around the seasonal averages.

It'll get hotter through Friday with highs in the thirties in Seoul.

With that, let's take a look at the international weather for viewers around the world.

Most regions in South Korea will notice a big jump in temperatures while a monsoonal rain front will drop up to 80 millimeters of rain on parts of North Korea.

Rescue efforts are still going on in Japan after heavy flooding this past week.

A wild start to the week in New Zealand eases into more settled conditions.

Steamy temperatures will return to New York City and Washington DC under burning sunshine.

As for South America, Brazil's two major cities will have cool and breezy afternoon temperatures.

Taking you to Europe,... Brits will welcome their 50th consecutive day of sunshine with a brief drop in temperatures.

Lastly to Africa, expect slightly hotter weather in Cairo and other parts of Egypt.

That's the weather update for now.
