Brutal attack on cops on the rise, Rajavelu left with 16 cuts. 35 year old Rajavelu, a police constable was hacked by a group on men in Royapettah, Chennai on Monday night. The incident took place around 10:15pm last night as the cop went to investigate a case of eve teasing reported to control room. He was attacked by 5 men who were an inebriated condition. The men asked him to leave from the spot but as he kept questioning them, they attacked him. He has sustained 16 cuts to his head, ears and face.
