An alleged road-bully claiming to be from the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kementerian Dalam Negeri) in a viral video was reportedly suspended from his post in 2017 for alleged abuse of power.

According to the Home Ministry, the man was merely an honorary People's Volunteer Corps (Rela) member appointed in 2015.

The ministry, in a statement, said the viral video of the incident has been forwarded to the police for further action.

The ministry also urged those involved to lodge police reports.
