The Kremlin confirmed they had invited President Moon to an annual international forum expected to take place in the fall.
According to Russian media Interfax, Presidential Aide Yuri Ushakov confirmed that Moon has been invited to the fourth Eastern Economic Forum in September.
The event, scheduled to take place in Vladivostok in September is expecting another special guest: Kim Jong-un.
President Vladimir Putin requested the regime's leader visit Russia, suggesting to join the global event.
The developments are drawing attention to another inter-Korean and even a three-way summit with Russia.
However, Ushakov mentioned, nothing has been planned as of now.
