When the Council on Foreign Affairs releases a series of articles on their Foreign Affairs website you should spend a little time reading. I don’t know your position on the Council but many feel it is an actual shadow government steering our foreign and domestic policies. With that said; is their series of articles under the “Which World Are We Living In?” title you will find six potential candidates.
For the purposes of this article, and my expertise level, we will be focusing on Tech World. Unlike Marxist World, Tribal World, and the others, it focuses on the second Industrial Revolution…the real rise of the machines. In a world where ten percent unemployment counts as a major recession and 20 percent would be a global emergency, robots may well perform a quarter or more of all work. This is the stuff of violent revolutions.” We can only hope there is no truth in this fiction…or is there?
