Ever wanted to take a picture of what you see on your screen and send it to someone? Well, there is a feature that you already have on your Mac to do that.

TO CAPTURE YOUR WHOLE SCREEN
Hold down your Apple/Command key, your Shift key, and the number "3" key all at the same time, and let go. The image will appear on your desktop.

TO CAPTURE A PORTION OF YOUR SCREEN
Hold down your Apple/Command key, your Shift key, and the "4" key all at the same time, and let go. Then, click in the upper left corner of the section of your screen that you want to capture, hold down the clicker on your mouse/keypad, drag your mouse to the bottom right corner of the section you want to capture, and let go. The image will appear on your desktop.
