The England squad arrived in France on Monday and were welcomed in some style.

Reminiscent of the dressage witnessed on a regular basis at the Royal Windsor Horse Show, the England team bus followed behind the five horses into the courtyard of their hotel.

Based in Chantilly, around 30 km north of Paris, Roy Hodgson's men will have arrived in fine spirits and enjoyed their welcome given their recent run of form.

England won all 10 of their quaifiers en route to the tournamente as well as their three most recent friendly matches.

England have been drawn in Group B and will open their campaign against Russia in Marseille on Saturday.

This before the highly anticipated clash with neighbours Wales in Lens on June 15th.

Their final group stage game takes place in Sain-Etienne against Slovakia on June 19th, but Hodgson and his squad will be hoping to extend hotel reservations for as long as possible.
