Cold weather leaves hedgehog charity with hundreds of orphans
  • 5 years ago
Prickles Hedgehog Rescue has previously cared for and released 3000 hedgehogs into the wild but many have now been caught out by the sudden drop in night time temperatures. Due to the sudden drop, the Cheddar-based charity, Somerset, has taken on an average of 11 a day for the past three and currently have more than 100 in care. The influx started in September and the centre imagine it will continue into November and could leave them with more than 180 baby hedgehogs.
