The fin-stabilized artillery shell was discovered in the skip at a rubbish dump at around midday on Monday, by a shocked worker who was emptying the big metal bin. Police evacuated the Arun Business Park in Bognor Regis, West Sussex, while troops from the Royal Logistic Corps carried out the controlled detonation at the tip.
