A benefits cheat who swindled nearly £34,000 in disability handouts claiming
he couldn't cut up his own food was bunkered when he was secretly filmed -
playing TWO rounds of GOLF every week. Shameless David Ray, 55, admitted falsely claiming benefits normally reserved for people who can't walk or dress themselves - for NINE YEARS. Ray pocketed Government handouts by claiming he suffered from a degenerative disease of the spine that prevented him from working. Between July 2000 and November 2009 he claimed £33,855.60 in Disability Living Allowance and High Mobility Allowance - the highest rate of benefits available.
