A gunfight that broke out over a confiscated laptop computer near the Afghan capital on October 26, 2013, ended with the death of an Afghan serviceman and three NATO soldiers wounded, according to Afghan and NATO officials. The fight broke out at the Afghan National Army Officer Academy near Kabul which only opened last week, the BBC reported. Shots were fired after an argument between an Afghan guard and three NATO soldiers following the confiscation of a laptop computer from a driver. Reports said that soldiers from New Zealand and Australia had sworn at the Afghan guard during the argument and that the soldier had shot at the group later as they walked through the compound. — Reuters
