Korean Leaders Hold Surprise Meeting To Ensure U.S.-North Korea Summit Takes Place

According to a report by Reuters, South Korean President Moon Jae-in and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un held a surprise meeting on Saturday to ensure that the summit between the US and North Korea takes place. The unannounced meeting took place at the Panmunjom border village, and came one month after Moon and Kim held the first inter-Korean summit in over a decade where they agreed to move toward a nuclear-free Korean peninsula.
