Fiat Chrysler Issues Massive Recall Over Cruise Control Issues The car company issued a recall for 4.8 million vehicles after discovering that in rare cases, drivers were unable to turn off cruise control. The recall impacts 15 different Jeep, Dodge, Ram and Chrysler models, ranging from the years 2014 through 2018. Fiat Chrysler reports that the issue can happen when the cruise control accelerates simultaneously with an electrical short-circuit. They are warning drivers to avoid using cruise control until the software issue is fixed. The company will begin informing customers next week if they are impacted and urges them to get the repairs done quickly.
