COMPULSORY ABS As per law, ABS has been made mandatory for all two-wheelers above 125 cc and CBS (combined-braking system) or ABS has been made mandatory for two-wheelers less than or equal to 125 cc. anti lock braking system Coming to the date from when the rule will kick in, it is 1st April 2018 for new models/releases .ie. if any new model is released after 1st April 2018, then, it should come pre-fitted with ABS.
