This 3rd generation drive train boasts increased torque (95lbft), power (74hp), and range (140km), which gives the smart more than enough power to deal with city and highway traffic and more range than all of the plug-in electric competition. I literally pulled away from traffic at stop lights, and I had absolutely no problems with this vehicle in the snow. If anything, it handled better than all the other cars on the road that day (note how many vehicles I overtake). Overall, a great experience.\r
