Join me on the collection day of the latest arrival in the fleet, an Aston Martin Vanquish Volante Carbon Edition, wrapped in 'Shmee Blue' by Dub Customs. The car will be embarking almost immediately on my 'Where's Shmee' Eurotour, with more information to follow very shortly.

With the sun out in force it was always going to make for a lovely day to collect a new car, and particularly a convertible. We jump in my Vantage GT8 to head to Stratstone Aston Martin Amersham to collect the Vanquish before a little dual Aston convoy back home.

The Vanquish is powered by a 576PS, 630Nm 6.0l V12, mated to the newer 8 speed automatic gearbox. In Volante form you have an opening roof that doesn't impede boot space and has a 2+2 seating configuration. The Carbon Black Edition came with a loaded specification, numerous visual carbon options and custom black trim to the interior. The wheels that are a specific design to the Carbon Edition have been diamond cut thanks to Posh Wash.
