FrSky Taranis Review: APM Ardupilot Switches, Channel Setup, RTL or panic button!

FrSky Taranis. We spent a day exploring the transmitter to build a quadcopter with APM 2.6. We documented the lesson to share with our team. This video includes configuring Switches & Channels, RTL, Calibrating radio. \r

This is part 1 of a 3 part :\r
Episode 25 part 1, we demo three modes just using Custom Function (CF) for the three switch positions, if that is all you need. \r
Episode 28 part 2, Custom Switches (CS) Mix. \r
Epiode 30 part 3, we will assign those basic Custom Switches we created to sound files for each flight mode, and lastly add advanced Custom Switches to sound Armed and Dsarmed when you Yaw your stick right or left.\r

Selecting your Channel 7 (SF switch) Option:\r
Sorry, forgot to add a clip to this video, so here is a screen capture with regards to Channel 7. \r
At some point, by default, Channel 7 was configured to save the current location as a waypoint, but Channel 7 allows you do quite a few other things. It is popular as a auto trim switch, but once you are done trimming, we find it more useful for RTL You now also have the option to assign Channel 8 to another switch. You must make your selection on Mission Planner Arducopter PID setup page\r
