Composed by Johann Strauss II, "The Blue Danube, Op. 314" is arguably the most famous waltz ever written. The Blue Danube is Austria's unofficial second national anthem and is played each year at the Vienna New Year's Concert which is broadcast around the world.

The piece was prominently used in the film, '201: A Space Odyssey,' and in the 1997 film 'Titanic'.

Point Classics brings you the '30 Second Classics' series. A collection of two hundred Classical works, edited into 30 second excerpts, showcasing the most recognisable and famous parts.
