South Korea's defense ministry announced Monday that it will start dismantling the propaganda loudspeakers set up along the inter-Korean border starting Tuesday.
This is part of implementing the Panmunjom Declaration,... in which the two Koreas agreed to stop broadcasting propaganda and distributing leaflets along the inter-Korean border from May first.
The defense ministry spokesperson said while the South Korean military is maintaining its utmost readiness and preparedness,... it will do its best to implement Friday's agreement.
