South Korea's industrial output declines in March

South Korea's industrial output fell one-point-two percent on-month in March, marking two consecutive months of decline.
According to Statistics Korea on Monday, memory chip production increased by over one percent,... but production in automobiles and machinery dropped by more than three percent on-month, leading the overall fall in industrial output.
Industrial output also saw an on-year drop of four-point-three percent in March.
But retail sales, an indicator of consumption, went up two-point-seven percent on-month... on the back of strong automobile and clothing sales.
