Chef G. Garvin is widely known for his television , Turn up the Heat with G. Garvin, now in its seventh season on TV One. He has written award-winning cookbooks Turn up the Heat, Make It Simple and Dining In. Through his One Bite at Time Foundation Garvin has launched his culinary boot camp for kids ages 16-19 with the goal of changing lives and introducing kids to new career choices in the culinary arts. Chef Helen Roberts, Culinary Development manager oversees Kikkomans Kitchen where she creates and tests of a wide variety of on-trend Asian, American and international recipes for home cooks. With her lively personality and easy-going approach to great home cooking, Roberts has made frequent television and Internet appearances. She was recently selected to participate in Michelle Obamas Chefs Move to Schools program, which is part of the First Ladys Lets Move! campaign aimed at solving the childhood obesity epidemic. Roberts is a graduate of the California Culinary Academy and has studied at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris.
