The Pratyusha Banerjee suicide is the second in the list of young successful heroines ending their life suddenly. The suicides are starkly similar to the other suicide which rocked the film industry and it is really eerie. Let us see how the Pratyusha and Jiah suicides are similar.
Both Hung From the Fan
Both the happy, aspiring starlets hung themselves from the fan putting an end to years of hard work all down the drain. Both were found hanging in their own house.
Both Were In Their Mid Twenties
Twenty something is not an age to decide drastically on life but both these gorgeous gals took their life at this age. Jiah was 25 and Pratyusha a year younger. Sad the reason will never be known but they are no more with us today.
Both Had Abusive Boyfriends
While Jiah apparently was rumoured to have been in an abusive relation with Sooraj Panscholi, Pratyusha was with Rahul her boyfriend who has been charged under abetment to suicide. Sooraj was charged, jailed and then released on bail. This is very eerily similar.
Mothers of Both Girls Allege Murder
Much as Rabia Khan is still filing petitions in the court against Sooraj and insists her daughter was murdered and did not commit suicide, we have Pratyusha’s mother too who alleges RAhul is the one responsible for her daughter’s death. This again comes as a striking similarity in the two deaths.
Both Were in A Slump
Jiah did well in her entry to Bollywood and then slumped with Ghajini and Housefull not doing too well. Similarly Pratyusha did well in Balika VAdhu and did not do too well in Bigg Boss and Power Couple. Thus they both were on a low.
