Finally the much awaited song Pinga from the movie Bajirao Mastani released with lot of glamour. It is certainly a pakka Sanjay Leela Bhansali fare. With the best kinds of Maharastrian edges, one can only automatically compare the song to the Dola Re version in Devdas.

The song was to be released earlier but got cancelled due to the Paris attacks. Fionally when it did release, it shows the two divas of Bollywood in true colours. One cannot but marvel at their finesse, perfection and also the dedication with which they have essayed their respective roles in the life of the Peshwa.

The colour combinations are lovely against a subtle background and the Piku and the jungle billi of Bollywood have really hit the right chord through this visually spectacular song. As regards the movie per se one only can wait for its December release and just count the days.
