Making of – Three Musketeers by Rodeo FX
Creating the environment for the Tower of London in a 16th century context was one of the great opportunities that were presented to us during this project. We had to get into serious historical researches in order to make sure all details were perfectly accurate! From general architecture to very specific elements such as crowds, trees and flags, everything we designed in CG had to match with the time period. Our Matte Painting and Compositing teams were not left without any work as we also had amazing establishing shots on our scope of work. Being our third collaboration with the amazing team from Mr. X (Dennis Berardi) and director Paul W. Anderson, we must also mention that this was all happening in stereoscopy! The movie audience will be delighted to see the twist of D’Artagnan’s original tale taking place in a whole new dimension! www.rodeofx.com
