China's head of the ruling Communist Party's International Department, Song Tao visiting Pyongyang with its art troupe was greeted by Kim,... reflecting the improved ties between the two sides.
China's state run Xinhua News Agency reported that the North Korean leader told the visiting diplomat that Kim and Xi (quote) "reached important consensus" in Beijing, referring to his first foreign trip early this month.
The warm welcome is in stark contrast to Chinese diplomats' last visit to Pyongyang in November as President Xi's special envoy,...where he returned without meeting with Kim.
