29 year old police officer attached with the town Family Sexual Violence Unit said she's always encouraged women who go through different kinds of violence to report these matters.

Josie Kikoli said she's worked on these cases many times, but when it happened to her, it was like a slap in the face.

Kikoli said two weeks ago, she was almost killed by her ex-partner and father of her 18 month old infant daughter.
