The Simpsons did not predict the Toys "R" Us bankruptcy. Although it has predicted other major events, including Donald Trump's presidency, further inspection has revealed that a Simpsons episode about the popular toy store chain did not include it shutting down. In the episode, Moe removes the backwards "R" from a Toys "R" Us and replaces it in the "right" way, leading to children crying.
