METADRON es una banda que nace en la Zona Sur del Gran Buenos Aires, en Argentina, formada por los hermanos Nicolás y Mariano Miele. Desde un desierto digital, hasta una estación de tren a las tres de la mañana pueden resultar como ideas disparadoras de sus composiciones. Sus influencias van desde Harmonia y Neu! pasando por Sonic Youth, Broadcast, y J.J. Burnel. El dúo juega con una base en gran parte electrónica, a crear un sonido denso que se acerca al drone pero que tiene acordes fuertemente influenciados por la psicodelia (sin usar una guitarra). Este es un trabajo bastante contundente que sorprende por su madurez de sonido y composición. Mas allá de eso hay canciones muy disfrutables que nos presentan un conjunto nuevo con mucho potencial creativo, lo que nos da para pensar que sorprenderán en el futuro.
METADRON is a band born in the South of Greater Buenos Aires, in Argentina, formed by brothers Nicolás and Mariano Miele. A digital desert, to a train station at three o'clock in the morning can be shooting ideas of their compositions. Their influences range from Harmonia and Neu! going through Sonic Youth, Broadcast, and J.J. Burnel. The duo plays with a largely electronic base, creating a dense sound that approaches Drone but has chords strongly influenced by Psychedelia (without using a guitar). This is a quite forceful work that surprises by its maturity of sound and composition. Beyond that there are very enjoyable songs that present us with a new set with a lot of creative potential, which gives us to think that they will surprise in the future.
